Dr. Sundra A. Lemanski was raised in Georgetown, Texas. Her father, who is also an optometrist, still practices there. Her experience in optometry began when she was in high school, working in his office. She received her doctorate from the University of Houston in May of 1995.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Mike and they have two beautiful daughters, born in 1997 and 2000.  Working as an optometrist allows her to schedule her work day around their time in school, which is the reason she is normally not in the office late in the afternoon, except one day a week when Mike takes care of the kids so she can offer some late afternoon appointments.  In addition to spending time with her family, she enjoys gardening, camping, reading, running, cycling and crafts.  She also loves animals.  The Lemanskis have an American Eskimo dog named Buttons, a Grey Parrot named Uno and two sugar gliders named Peepers and Piper.

Dr. Lemanski's highest professional priority is to make sure her patients' eye health is the best that it can be. Her complete exam includes not only a careful determination of the clearest prescription, but also a dilation or Optomap retinal exam and thorough health check.
